During last weekend, I and my friends joined the open futsal tournament at UniKL British Malaysian Institute which is just located next to our campus. Sincerely, it is bigger than I ever thought. This is the first time we play together as a team for tournament, excluding the practice. My last game was in Foundation in PJ and now I got the chance again to play in team. I mean, the real team.

Gosh. This is really awesome.

4 teams from IIUM (I guess) joined the tournament and we are all KAEDians. I then noticed I missed a lot of awesome things since I started studying in Gombak campus. The 4 teams were named Baitulmaqdis, Kopi Jantan, Kopi Betina, and Kapal Api (my team). Sounds funny, but it is more than that when you’re in the match.

The first impression was different. I was not sure to believe which point – playing easy or hard. Whatever. Let’s play. And the first match began. It was our first time and unfortunately I was been put in the wrong position. A defender suddenly became the striker and I lost my focus. We lost 0-1. It is our first match and we were very disappointed but somehow we got motivated again where we could win the other 2 matches.

And yes, we won another 2 matches!

Been put in the right position and substitutions, we played very well as it is our first experience. Everybody knows each other abilities for example, EP JB has to go inside the game in the second half and being changed before the game ends. It works! I learned something new at that time where knowing each other is very important if we are looking for success and achieving the goal.

As the result for the first day, all 4 teams qualified to the knockout stage and we were really happy about that.

For the knockout, we are the first one to be knocked out followed by other teams. Baitulmaqdis won the 3rd place and for me, they are a great team.

Well, we’re now more than half of Ramadhan and let’s think backward- what’d we done?

Seems I missed a lot of time for blogging. Dush3x.

Maybe it’s because of the pulsing days.

The pulsing days? Oh my.

Pulsing~ WTH is that?

Actually the word came into my mind from Anas’s idea for our town centre proposal – a pulsatic downtown. Note: Pulsatic = Pulsing + Energetic. Personally, I love this concept but if the other members decide to work on 1Banting concept, it’s OK for me =)

..so why I’m talking about this pulsing?

From my understanding, pulsing is like something that give energy and impact to the surrounding – like our pulsing hearts that move our body circulation. (make me remembered of the Biology days. ouch)

Jumble of projects and assignments forcing me to work everyday. Yeah, because even a simple assignment will affect your mark in IIUM. In other word, just do what you need to do. And that’s the thing that keep forcing me to work. Oh yeah! (T_T)

- Infrastructure Report
- Quran, Sunnah & Built Environment Presentation & Review
- Leadership Essay & Final Project

Seems simple but a lot of critical thinking and analysis to be made. Well tasks and assignments, you’d made my pulsing days!

p.s: Some people might keep mumbling about the assignments, but I really believe that there’s a strong reason why lecturers give us assignments. So do love the lecturers =p

p.s: We understand that ‘Pulsatic’ term is not in the dictionary, but we feel excited to hear that our lecturer could mention the word! Yosh!

how about accreditation day?

- ok.. it’s all ok. haha (actually, i dunno what to say) ..the presentation got praises but there’s lack in some aspects such as the application of planning guidelines.

presentation by 2nd year and 3rd year students are also cool :drool: ..but i think they got more advance questions by the accreditors. uh. scary

i got no much more to say. but i think we had gave our best effort for this accreditation exercise, except when the Q & A session. it looks like we still can’t answer serious questions related to planning studies.

well, it’s a thing to be improved.

that’s it. i got some works to do. uhuh.

Sometimes we got bad nightmare. And some people get traumatic by their own dreams.

Some people afraid of the dark. Some people afraid of their parents. Some people afraid of riding bicycle. Some people afraid of mice. Some people afraid of cats. Some people afraid of the cockroach. I myself feel very afraid of the failure to get something, no matter whatever it is – a mobile phone, a printer, a camera, or even a girl :blushing: So that’s why I choose to put my hardest effort for everything that I do. Because a simple failure could make me regret for the entire of my life :banghead:

The first day of Semester 2 had started yesterday. And well, we got the first task. Btw, the studio master and the supervisors had a little bit changed. Madam Dr. Zainora became the studio master, SJ and Bro Zahir are the supervisors. Bro Ali goes to 2nd year studio.

Whatever it is, study goes on. And we got the first task. ‘mixed-development’. I’m in group with Lynn and Kak Pah. Mutiara Damansara, PJ. At first glance, I thought Mutiara Damansara is in Damansara. haha. pathetic :drool:

And last night is the most exhausting night, actually it happens early in the sem. You know it. Searching for the classes.

ADM LR 6 (Admin building) – UNGS2040 :surprised:
AIKOL LR 3.6 (Ahmad Ibrahim Kuliyyah of Laws) – Bahasa Melayu Kerjaya :suspicious:

I had my Fardhu ‘Ain class at AIKOL Level 1 last sem and never at Admin Building (ADM). uh. so after doing some reading for the 1st task at the Library, i started walking to the ‘Admin building’. fyi, i never where is the admin building. I asked a lot of person, from pak guard to the students, most of them sisters (because there were a lot of them at the campus last night.. normal scene, maybe?) :suspicious:

and yeah. after almost 2 hours searching, I found the class. yeah. at last I found it :tongue:

one more class. it’s in AIKOL. so I walked to AIKOL. gosh. it’s dark. but it’s easier from the previous class. to be simple, I found it.

you know what? I was late to the UNGS2040 class this morning and the class already finished. some sisters there said that the lecturer just gave a short introduction so the class finished earlier. uh. :waa:

then for the class at AIKOL, the Bahasa Melayu Kerjaya class, i went there early, but the ‘cikgu’ didn’t come. uhu3. :waa:

while searching for the class last night, I was thinking in my mind – how it is such a hard way to seek knowledge. I feel very sad to see that some people just take for granted the opportunity that they got to be in the university. Ignoring the importance to study hard, keeping habit of always absent from class until been barred, showing bad manner to the lecturers and etc, etc are some of the ‘clot in the blood vein’ that show how these people being ungrateful for what they have got. I have nothing much to say. For me, I try my best for whatever I do, since I felt regret for a lot of times in this life.

The Final Papers

I have nothing much to say. My hand felt like shiver and the night before the exam, I revise the notes for 2-3 times. It’s just because I felt so so so scared on what gonna happen on the next day.

Will I feel regret tomorrow? Or will I satisfy? omg.

Talking about the exam days, I have my own style of facing them – by feeling afraid. It sounds weird but the feeling actually helps me a lot. But the best damn thing is – it really made me forgot to take my meals.

Pack the notes in mind. Set up. And I’m ready to go.

I’m not a kind of smart student and I have to study hard. That’s it. And my head sometimes has possibility to blown up.

South Journey / Jaulah / Kembara Selatan

There must be something to release the pasca-final feeling. So I decided to join ‘Kembara Selatan’ with my seniors and buddies. The journey was held under Persatuan Belia Islam Nasional (PEMBINA). We went to Johor, Melaka & Negeri Sembilan. wow. I saw a lot of new things along the journey.

We met great people and do some charity works in Johor.

Playing football under the sun at Port Dickson, met hilarious Tom’s family and visit people with chronic disease – it brought a lot of meanings to me.

oh yeah. I made my personal record in this journey. We had some futsal match and I scored double-hatrick for our futsal team’s victory.

Finally, I’m at home

wargh!! what to do? so I and my friends decided to organize a Qiamullail programme for the villagers. it’s free. we got a marvellous response from the villagers. wow. it’s great. thanks villagers of Kg Bukit Chempedak, Labu Besar! I still not get any pics from my friend yet, so it’s not here now.

Then? Camping at Bendang Man, Sik. Like usual, I’m searching for new friends and I met a doctor. He is a surgeon and now works at Hospital Sultanah Bahiyah, Sungai Petani. And a friend from Insaniah that loves to cook and it’s very suitable for me because.. I only like to eat! We play some water games like water polo (er.. it’s not like the one in the TV) and some ‘physical exercise’. I got some bruises. well, you know what I mean (T_T)

Several days after camping.. Streamyx in A Box arrived at my house!!! I was waiting for it for a long time. Thanks a lot, Mom! :notworthy: – and that’s how I’m back today.

The Examination Result

omg. It’s the thing that I’m waiting and at the same time, feeling very scared to see it. It’s Mirahida who asked me how about my result.

and.. I.. saw.. it..

OMG!! YA ALLAH..

Indeed, I was very shocked. I ran to the kitchen and hugged my Mom. Then I called Dad at office.

Alhamdulillah. Thanks God. I got Dean’s List.

of course, Mirahida got better result than me :notworthy:

thanks to lecturers, friends and especially my ‘madam’ – nelza. she taught me a lot of things.

But the journey is still long to go. I need to study harder to maintain what I got.
