I got a spinning headache and went to sleep earlier last night. Gosh. It must be due to the selection in the evening.

And when I woke up.. I just remembered it’s 53rd Malaysia Independence Day!

Well.. it’s 53 years after Malaysia had been declared independence. It’s an awesome moment to be remembered. A part of meaningful history. And freedom is something that we want to enjoy in our life.

However as always I got several questions in my mind.

The first thing is – why the celebration is not same as before? Is it me myself who excluding myself and my mind from this annual sense? Or is it national-wide sense which make me feel this celebration not even merrier? I still remember the old days where we are all waiting for the Independence Day when we can see flags and banners all over the place along the roads.

Some people might say it’s because it happens in the fasting month. I guess it’s not the matter. Well, maybe it’s me who choose to stay in room and doing works. My fault. I should go out there and see waving flags all over the roads and attending Merdeka events.

The second thing is – are we really free?

I guess this is abstract. Different people and nations interpret different meanings for freedom. But doing absurd things when counting countdown for 31st August is something unacceptable. Come on, we are civilized people so let’s do it the civilized way. Independence is not just about shouting “Merdeka!” several times and waving flags for several minutes.

Let’s enjoy this moment or remembrance and explore the meaning of rights, freedom and independence for the better future of our nation. Merdeka!

To be frankly teenagers (22 is still teenager!) like me did a lot of sins in our life. We sometimes enjoy ourselves too much or end up boring. However we never know or never realize we did a lot of mistakes although it looks right.

Well, it’s teenagers we’re talking about.

It’s Ramadhan again and Alhamdulillah thanks God I have the chance that we meet again. It’s the time where our schedules change and we have some pieces of time to take a look at ourselves. Am I being better or vice versa?

In fact some people still feel bad when it comes to fasting. I agree taking meals is enjoying moments but hey – try to take a look why the fasting was being ordered to us. Or at least, read scientifically of what fasting is. And it’s not just about abstaining yourself from eating and drinking, it’s more than that.

And take your time to repent.

Yes, repent.

It’s impossible to count how many time we do repent because it’s human nature to feel regret for doing something wrong. And most of us keep doing mistakes after feeling repent. And repent again. And do mistakes again. Again and again.

Repent is repent. And I guess it’s just a matter of time in our way for maturity.

* How maturity should be? I guess it’s an abstract matter.

I just woke up from my so called “go early to sleep”. Again, I still not success in doing it – sleep early and wake up early. This time it’s because of the flu. So I have to sleep later than I’d planned. And it means I might wake up later tomorrow. I don’t want that so I guess it’s better to stay here, in front of my lovely PC and start mumbling!

I got all these blisters since a few weeks ago and it’s still there. “You might get chickenpox,” as doctor said.

“Thank you, doc. So it’s chickenpox or not?”.

“I’m not sure. You have to wait for a few days”

And I have to ‘wait’ for the answer to come. And I guess it’s happening.

Feeling like fever, flu and a lovely itchy body – a set of entertainment that make it’s harder for me to sleep. Well, it could be a sign for me to be more patient in life. Who knows? It might be a sign of love.

Love? It could be everything. Sharing feelings is compulsory. Paying attention is essential. And what on the earth do it means.

And currently I do love Stereopony. Their music. How they perform on stage. Haha. Stereopony rocks!

Well, I still can’t sleep and I lost my mood for it. Maybe I should continue playing PES or reading some online news until morning.

* I’m thinking of reconnect with old friends in blogging. Feeling guilty of forgetting them. Oh oh.

Learning new things is amazing. And it’s feel awesome to explore more and more.

I have a great passion in learning and exploring new things. It might cannot make me become more brilliant but it gives a taste of satisfaction. I believe different people got different taste as different people love different fruits, flowers and girls.

I participated in organizing Minggu Jejak Bestari (week for IT) at my former secondary school and at this point I realized there are a lot more things to explore. I feel glad to see my buddies got their own niches to explore as well as me. I see the feel of passion in their faces. And yes, we are computer geeks so some of the passions which I mentioned are graphic design, databases, scripting, programming and yada yada.

However the environment had changed. Kids are more advanced than we could expect and I see that in my juniors (I’m a super duper senior!). Talking about Yahoo!, Google or HTML are not enough to make them feel amaze – very different form the old times where we were so excited to see and know we can see, send and do a lot of things using Internet.

And as always, bad effects come together with the good one at the same time. I believe kids nowadays are exposed to too much things out there and that’s why they are open to talk about coupling, marriage and sex which I never ever tend to think about it during my school-time. Somewhat gross but it is fact – and we are living in it.

More things to explore!

• New things – currently I explore scripting and CSS and databases is yet to come!
• How kids going on nowadays

Learning is continuous process – until the end of our life.

I and some mates are in our way of registering of our company and pray for our success.

Being the only child for my parents, I admit sometimes I’m too rely on my parents especially on important matters – finance, banking, housing, car, etc. And honestly I feel too comfortable with it.

“You don’t have to think anything. Just study and make us happy,” that’s what my mom said a few years ago.

But the thing has changed. I’m not a school kid anymore. And I’m capable of getting cash through my own efforts. I realized my parents’ perception towards me had changed.

Honestly I feel shocked when my mom asked me these questions one day:

• Which model of car do you want to use in the future?
• How much do you plan to save per month from your salary?

I answered nothing.

My mom smiled and told me – you should think in advance.

It’s like a hard slap. I never think what will happen in the future. I do study but I never plan on my job. I do blogging but I never plan what will I do or how I would manage my sites 4-5 years from now.

We have to think in advance so we could plan what we want to do in the future. Or what we will be.

I guess here are some advantages of thinking in advance:

• We have the chance to plan our future
• We can predict what we want to be
• We know what we want to achieve

That’s it. Think in advance!

p.s: Got call letter from National Service. Don’t they have the record of any candidate still studying? Absurd.
